There’s a better way to do check-ups. Says who? Indonesia’s Halodoc, a health service app that connects patients to medical practitioners and healthcare services.

Investor check. PT Astra Digital led the round, while Openspace and Denmark’s Novo Holdings also joined in!

🍎 An apple a day?

There are a lot of reasons why you can’t meet a doctor face-to-face.

For one, chronic pain can make it hard for you to wait for hours at the hospital. Bad weather and traffic also make it a hassle to commute to your doctor, especially if their clinic is hours away. 😫

Now, Halodoc lets you complete the whole check-up process from home!

  • Consult with doctors, order medicine, book diagnostic tests, schedule doctor visits, do insurance arrangements, and make payments!

Everyone’s included. Book consultations for your whole family—and even your pet! (Yes, their app offers online vet consultations and pet care!)

⚕️ About Halodoc

Halodoc is a product under MHealth Tech, which develops other consumer tech products in the healthcare industry.

  • 🏍️ ApotikAntar, a medicine delivery service.
  • 🧑‍⚕️ LinkDokter, a social platform for medical practitioners.
  • 🩺 Lab, a booking platform for lab tests.

Patients can connect with over 20K medical practitioners, 3.3K hospitals, and 4.9K pharmacies through Halodoc.

💪 Health is wealth

The new $$$ will help Halodoc add more doctors, pharmacists, clinics, and insurance providers to the platform.

  • They’ll also develop their at-home health test service, Home Lab.
  • Halodoc will also work on a feature that lets patients access services integrated with their health insurance.
