EdenFarm

Say hey to EdenFarm! This Indonesian agritech just raised a $13.5M Pre-Series B led by Indonesian telco Telkomsel's investment arm, TMI Ventures.

  • Founded in 2017, they now have over 5,500 partner farmers and 50,000 B2B customers.

Investor check. AppWorks, AC Ventures, Capria Ventures, and other investors also joined in!

  • They last raised a $19M Series A co-led by AppWorks and AC Ventures in 2021.

🧑🏻‍🌾 Farm fresh

They're a B2B platform that offers fresh produce from local farmers to restaurants, caterers, street vendors and startups in Indonesia!

The goal? Improve farmers' lives through building super efficient tech-supported supply chains.

  • And at the same time... This helps build a food market with stable prices that has enough supply to feed Indonesia (basically, make the country self-sufficient instead of relying on exported produce)!

🚜 How it's done

They buy fresh produce from farmers and then collect, select and distribute it to their B2B customers.

  • They have three fulfillment centers and ten collection facilities across Java.
  • Their growth has shot up to nearly 60x in the last 40 months.

Direct to the source. This removes all the inefficiencies of having middlemen, making prices cheaper, margins better, quality more consistent and last-mile delivery way more efficient for customers.

😏 Fresh funds, fresh plans

They'll use the $$$ to expand across Indonesia, level up their customer service and scale their tech.

  • Plus, they plan to increase their profit in the next 12 months and push for 3.5–4x growth YoY.
