Hello, how do you do? It’s NativeX! This Vietnamese edtech startup offers working adults live English classes taught by foreign teachers. They just completed their seed round with an additional $2.5M in funding, bringing their total raise to $4M!

  • Founded in April 2023, the startup says that half of their students are working professionals in IT, finance, marketing, and business.

Investor check. Ansible Ventures and Blueprint Ventures co-led the round, while Northstar Ventures and other investors joined in!

  • BTW. They raised $1.5M from angel investors through SAFE in June last year.

🖱️For working professionals

Busy work life? No problem. Their classes are designed for you and your unique situation.

  • NativeX has a flexible group learning system where they segment students based on proficiency levels and schedules.

English, please. For NativeX, English proficiency is key to tapping into the career potential of the Vietnamese workforce, especially for local tech talents.

💲 What’s with the $$$?

NativeX is going to use 80% of the fresh $$$ to level up their product.

  • They’re planning to launch a dual learning program this June for intermediate learners.
  • This program will combine English conversation lessons and soft skills training.

Hello, world. In a statement, NativeX is also planning to work with IT engineers to “develop an ecosystem supporting their success in the global outsourcing IT market”.
