Oh, baby! Meet edamama. They're the Philippines' leading e-commerce platform that's got everything for moms, babies and parenting! Mom's pretty proud right now since they've just raised a $20M Series A led by Alpha JWC.

  • Launched in May 2020, they delivered 1.5M products to customers in the pandemic with their warehousing and logistics.

Investor check. Gentree Fund, Robinsons Retail Holdings, Kickstart Ventures, InnoVen Capital, Foxmont Capital and angel investor Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng joined in.

  • Gentree, Robinsons and Kickstart are affiliated with the conglomerates that control the largest mall operators in the Philippines.
  • One of the largest early-stage rounds in the country and the largest by a female-led startup.
  • They raised a $5M Pre-Series A last year, along with debt funding.
