Want better kitchen habits? Here’s Noovoleum, an Indonesian startup that makes it easy for people to recycle their used cooking oil (UCO).

Now, they just raised $3M!

Investor check. Rigel Capital led the round.

🪔 Everyone’s involved

Don’t throw your waste away! Done cooking but still have a huge batch of used oil? No need to stress about how to get rid of it.

  • Go to a UCOllection box near you and dump your UCO. LIQUID8 will process it and turn it into biofuel.

From waste to $$$? Noovoleum operates on a profit-sharing model, so if you dispose of UCOs using the box, you’ll be able to receive instant credit.

  • Their model is great for homeowners and small business owners who need the extra cash.

👓 What’s next for 2025?

Noovoleum deployed 100 UCOllect Boxes in 2024.

  • This year? They’re planning to deploy 1K boxes in Indonesia and venture into three other Asian countries by the end of the year.
