Locofy

You’ve got to hear about Locofy! This Singapore-based startup uses AI to transform your designs (yes, designs!) into working code for apps and websites.

  • Founded in late 2021, around 110,000 people from more than 190 countries have signed up, and they've exported over 140M lines of code!
  • It converts designs from tools like Figma and Adobe XD.

Investor check. They raised $4.25M in a seed round led by Northstar Ventures.

  • Golden Gate Ventures, Accel, Aviondor Group, January Capital and several angel investors including the co-founder and CTO of Dropbox, Arash Ferdowsi!
  • They’ve raised around $7.3M in total.

💯 Developer’s assistant

They’re not here to steal developers’ jobs. They make developers’ lives easier and save time by turning designs into production-ready frontend code that developers can immediately use.

  • Focus on what matters most. With this, front-end and full-stack developers can focus on more complex problems in the development process.
  • Works with the tools you already use! It also integrates with Github, Storybook, Netlify, Vercel, and Snack.
  • Launch faster and better. They claim to save as much as 80% to 90% of time writing frontend code.

💸 What’s with the $$$?

Locofy plans to improve their AI tech to simplify their design-to-code pipeline. Oh, and they’re also planning to add more workflow integrations.

  • Right now, Locofy is 100% free to use! They’ll also be focusing more on monetization.
