$48M to keep it Privy

November 15, 2022
Privy

Trust me. It's Privy! This Indonesian startup just raised a $48M Series C. Founded in 2016, they create solutions for digital trust and e-signatures.

Oh, and we hear KKR is set to lead the round!

  • They have over 30M verified users and 1,800 enterprise customers, processing over 40 digital signatures a year.
  • They're partnered with hundreds of companies globally, including startups and both state-owned and private banks.

Investor check. MDI Ventures, GGV Capital, Telkomsel Mitra Inovasi (TMI) and Singtel Innov8 joined in.

👇🏼 How it works

They offer multiple products for you and I (and even large enterprises) to use, including:

PrivySign. This is their e-signature product that allows you to sign anywhere, anytime and on any device. The best part? They're all legally-binding and ultra-secure.

  • No more printing, scanning, back-and-forths and using paper.
  • Want to discuss the document? You get a chat room in-app with your counterparties.

PrivyPass. This is their customer onboarding and KYC service. With PrivyPass new users only need to login to their Privy account (similar to the login with Google feature upon signup to your favorite apps)!

  • Privy verifies every signer's national identity card and biometrics through the government database.
  • It's way faster. Instead of filling out long forms and needing to verify information over a few days, just login to Privy and you're done!

And more! They also have enterprise solutions, document management services and APIs that you can use!

💰 What's with the $$$?

They'll be developing new consumer and enterprise products. Plus, they'll also be expanding to new international markets and scaling their operations!
