🤖 The ABCs of Augmentus

Conventional robots being used in the manufacturing industry today also need conventional robot programming. 

• What that means? People need to have a high level of training and expertise to operate them. Learning the program takes time and skill!
• Augmentus deploys no-code robots that scan surfaces (basically serving as the robot’s eyes and brain!). That cuts down programming time from hours to just minutes.

Hello, efficiency. They claim that their tech reduces the automation process from 4 weeks to just 15 minutes, reducing costs by 70%! They even say it makes the automation process more accurate and efficient.

⚙️ A little more detail

Augmentus’ 3D cameras capture spatial information which it feeds into the robots’ AI model. Once the scan is complete, the platform generates an optimized path for the robot to move along and perform the task.

• You can further adjust the robot’s speed and angles. Oh, and you can even simulate robot movements offline for better precision.

The use cases? Manufacturers can speed up processes like grinding, welding, thermal spraying, and blasting while maintaining the same precision.
