Beef rice bowl Se’Indonesia cooks up a fresh funding

Feeling hungry? Se’Indonesia is an Indonesian quick service joint that serves up high-quality smoked beef rice bowls. 

  • They just raised $9.66M from a recent Series A funding, according to regulatory filings!

Investor check. Insignia Ventures Partners led the round, while Argor Capital, Saison Capital, W Fund, Kopital Ventures, Mulia Sky Capital, and Trihill Capital also joined in!

  • The amount raised was not disclosed.

  • Se’Indonesia doesn’t serve pork or lard, making it easy for them to cater to the predominantly Muslim community. 
  • They were previously known as Lakuliner, until they rebranded to Se’Indonesia in 2024.

According to a statement, Se’Indonesia is selling over 2M meals per month. 

  • Oh, and they’ve also been able to pay back existing outlets in less than 9 months. 

🐄 What’s cooking? 

They’ll build the company’s network of dine-in stores.

  • They plan to expand to 150 online outlets and 30 dine-in stores by 2025.
