Dash Electric raises seed to expand in Indonesia

November 8, 2024

Green deliveries? Check! Here’s Dash Electric, an Indonesian last-mile delivery service that uses electric vehicles (EVs) to help businesses move faster and greener.

  • Now, they’ve just raised their seed round!
  • They’re keeping the funding amount and valuation hush-hush though.
  • Do they sound familiar? Read our Ice Breakers with Dash Electric’s co-founder and CEO.

Investor check. The Radical Fund and Bali Investment Club co-led the round.

  • Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia, Aksara Ventures, Kevin Aluwi, co-founder and former CEO of Gojek, and Antler also joined in!

⚡ A dash to the top

Tired of worrying about your logistics and operations? Let Dash handle it.

With their fleet of EVs, they can execute speedy last-mile deliveries perfect for quick commerce brands.

  • Great for drivers too? Dash offers their drivers a chance to own EVs without upfront costs through its rent-to-own program.

The future is green. Dash also works with big logistics and e-commerce players and provides them with infrastructure to make the green transition.

  • They’ve already partnered up with Lazada, JNE, Sayurbox, and more!
  • Why that matters. Indonesia loves motorbikes.
  • Yes, there’s around 137M on the road! But unlike other SEA countries like Vietnam, they’re lagging in the EV game.

↗️ Their next stop?

Dash is planning to scale across Indonesia!

The startup plans to expand their EV fleet, onboard more drivers, and develop their in-house software to better manage their fleets.

  • Their focus? To build API integrations with clients to optimize their operations.
