August 27, 2024

Need extra support for your startup’s finances? Meet FinKnight. This Malaysia-based fintech just raised funding to bring their financial services to Southeast Asia’s startups and scaleups!

  • They’re formerly known as Beetle Knight Advisory.
  • They’ve supported over 15 startups and scaleups in the last year, ranging from pre-seed and pre-revenue to growth-stage startups hitting the mid-eight figures.

Investor check. First Move and an affiliate of Gobi Partners made strategic investments.

🤔 What’s the problem?

Traditional financial practices can’t meet the unique needs of startups and other high-growth companies.

On top of that, we all know startups are pressured to optimize costs while scaling operations. So, several are trying to move back-office functions like finance to other more cost-effective markets outside of where they operate—like Malaysia.

🤑 Your Fin(ancial)Knight

They’re here to support you no matter where you are in your startup journey and support you as you grow. They’ll help you navigate the complexity of financial landscapes, optimize your operations, and push for sustainable growth.

  • They can work with you from pre-seed all the way until IPO and M&A, with the exact solutions you need.
  • Some of the things they offer? Accounting and bookkeeping, M&A integration and post-transaction planning, data analytics, budgeting and forecasting, investor relations, and public company reporting.

🌏 What’s next?

They’ll be speeding up their expansion to new markets and keep improving their services.
