• Founded in 2018, they have properties in Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan.
• They have close to 6,000 rooms and properties.

Investor check. Ashish Manchharam (Founder, 8M Real Estate), who is joining Cove as an advisor, as well as existing investors, like Eurazeo and Keppel invested.

• They last announced a $6.5M SGD (~$4.84M) Series A in 2020.

They offer flexible and affordable housing solutions based on what you need. They even have three tiers with different prices, locations, and amenities to fit any budget and any lifestyle.

• Want to meet more people? They have co-living spaces where you share common areas.
• Want to keep it private? Choose their private studios or rent an entire apartment.

The homes are furnished and flexible, ranging from rooms in condominiums or houses to entire apartment units. You can even choose to stay in a Singaporean “shophouse”!

• Commit. Choose to rent on 3-12 month terms. 
• Short but sweet? They also offer nightly rates for stays that are at least 6 nights long.
• Make work work. They also have corporate housing on offer.

🌏 What’s next?

They’ll be doubling down on regional expansion in APAC and beefing up their position in existing markets.

A big change. They used to focus on an asset-light model but now have local JV partners.

• New board member Ashish will assist Cove’s acquisition of flexible living assets in  partnership with third party investors, including real estate funds, institutional investors and  family offices.
• They’re on track to launch 800 rooms (Korea) and 400 rooms (Japan) in the next six months with JV partners.
