Hauling in $50M to digitize Indonesian logistics

April 13, 2022
Waresix

Meet Waresix! This Indonesian logistics startup just hauled in a $50M Series B extension round. According to regulatory filings, this would transport their valuation to around $420M.

  • They cover 229 cities with nearly 54,000 trucks and 431 warehouses.

Who cashed in? Tiger Global, Temasek and East Ventures are said to have joined in.

  • Their last round was a $100M Series B from East Ventures, Jungle Ventures, SoftBank and more in 2020.

💭  What's the problem

If you need to ship or transport anything, you may go through a chain of multiple middlemen just to find the warehouses and trucks you need.

  • This increases costs yet makes the process less efficient and transparent. (Hi, missing items and delays!)

😉  You deserve better

Instead, head to Waresix, which connects shippers and businesses to available warehouses and trucks in their network.

Just keep shippin'. Through them, you'll quickly find a truck or warehouse fit for you. They've got competitive rates and strategic locations. Plus, they're reliable even in times of high demand. (I mean, how good can it get?)

💁🏻‍♀️  SaaSy stuff

They've also got their own software that helps optimize logistics even further. With their transportation and warehouse management systems, you can:

  • Create and assign orders anywhere, anytime.
  • Monitor orders in real-time and get proof of delivery.
  • Receive weekly and monthly reports.

💯  It's a win-win, baby

Waresix makes it simpler and more transparent for clients (aka, businesses that need to transport/store). At the same time, they make it more efficient for haulage companies and truckers.

  • Clients get lower costs and better service, while haulage companies and truckers can earn more.

The vision? Digitize and optimize logistics in Indonesia to build the perfect one-stop shop for end-to-end logistics solutions.
