Aditya Brahmana is the co-founder and CEO of Dash Electric. They’re a green supply infrastructure that helps businesses move faster, more efficiently, and sustainably.
Their goal is to reduce emissions and improve the livelihoods of drivers, while making deliveries more seamless for businesses.
👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
Imagine a quick commerce company that wants to focus purely on delivering groceries within thirty minutes. They don’t want the distraction of managing fleets, hiring drivers, or building the complex technology needed for supply management.
My job is to make sure they never have to worry about that. We provide the electric vehicles, drivers, and technology they need, allowing them to focus entirely on their core business. Essentially, we're building the supply infrastructure for internet companies with a focus on sustainability and driver well-being.
🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
Most people would be surprised to learn that our work isn't just about logistics, it’s about people.
Whether it's a driver who’s trying to make a living or a business that's struggling to deliver efficiently, we’re designing a system that works for both. It’s this human-centered approach that drives everything we do.
🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
The biggest highlight for me has been seeing Dash not only solve critical logistics challenges for businesses but also make a meaningful impact on the lives of our drivers
We’ve helped hundreds of drivers secure more stable incomes and provided them with a path to own electric vehicles, which they could never have imagined owning before. Knowing that we’re not only enabling businesses to grow but also improving the lives of our drivers by offering financial stability and sustainable mobility has been incredibly rewarding.
🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?
I'm really watching how the gig economy is evolving, especially in terms of worker protection and sustainability.
The intersection of electric vehicles and logistics is a space with massive potential, and I believe we’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible with battery swapping, electric vehicle infrastructure, and eco-friendly logistics solutions.
💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
Start with a problem that genuinely matters to people. Build something that improves lives, whether it's reducing emissions or helping workers earn more.
And always listen. Whether it be to your customers, your partners, and especially your team. Great ideas come from everywhere.
🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?
I could talk about Formula 1 for hours. especially that dramatic moment when Verstappen passed Hamilton in the final lap to win the championship in 2021.
It was a masterclass in strategy, risk, and precision. I’m also really interested to see how the sport will evolve as sustainability and electric vehicles become more central.
The shift to more eco-friendly motorsport could mirror what’s happening in the logistics industry, and it’s fascinating to watch.
🎥 What's your favorite movie/TV show?
Moneyball is definitely one of my favorites. It’s all about finding innovative ways to solve problems, even when the odds are stacked against you.
I love how it shows that with the right data, strategy, and mindset, you can outsmart the competition and achieve success in unconventional ways. That approach really mirrors how we’re building Dash.
🍨 What's your go-to ice cream flavor?
Definitely vanilla with chocolate chips. It’s classic but with a little extra—kind of like how we approach things at Dash. We take something traditional and add our own twist.
