👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

I help organizations to retain their talents and to help these talents perform at their best.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I used to have weird habits (some like to call it OCD) e.g. needing to sort out M&Ms or Skittles by color every time I see an opened packet. Thankfully, motherhood somehow neutralized it because frankly I ain't got the time to sort them out now!

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

EngageRocket was first founded on the vision of wanting to create better workplaces by improving employees' experience at work. My co-founder and I had said that it would be worth it even if we could make a positive difference to 1 employee or impact 1 organization.

Today, we impact hundreds of thousands of employees and work with hundreds of organizations and that brings a lot of meaning to the work that I do every day.

Application of Gen-AI in the space of human resource and talent management!

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

The best advice I can offer to anyone starting out at anything is to try everything. Borrowing a singlish phrase "don't try, don't know."

Always just try, be it attempting a new task, experimenting a new strategy or even simply asking someone for an opportunity—just try! Because the person who risks nothing, does nothing, learns nothing but if you do try and even if you fail, you walk away with experience.

Improving employee engagement within organizations! Especially using data.
