👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

I work with a bunch of talented creatives and content creators who push out amazing content to millions across SEA on a daily basis.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

We have made thousands of videos across the region for the past seven years, but I have only been featured once in our videos. A lot of people have tried spotting me in videos to no avail.

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Many of our early employees are still with us 6-7 years on. Watching them grow into senior leadership roles and finding their voice as young leaders have provided me with a great deal of inspiration.

🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?‍

I'm watching closely how the TikTok and Instagram short video wars are going to play out. The platforms are competing neck to neck on product features, and it would be super interesting to see how the platforms play out in the creator ecosystem.

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

The new media industry is constantly evolving with new developments and updates on a regular basis. If anyone wishes to start, one must adopt a curious mind to keep learning!

🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?

Fantasy basketball. I've been watching & tracking the NBA player stats for years. It's an endless black hole.
