Khanh Lê is the co-founder and CEO of Inflow, a Vietnam-based B2B fashion supply chain platform that helps brands simplify their sourcing and manufacturing process.

Their platform manages ethical suppliers who can give quotes as fast as 48 hours. Inflow has received seed funding from Antler and Iterative.

👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

I help modern fashion brands simplify their sourcing and manufacturing processes when working with Vietnamese garment factories.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I rarely do direct B2B sales before, but since Inflow, I have successfully onboarded 30 fashion brands from 5 countries, including Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Together with founders from the previous company, built a startup company  and sold the company to one of largest communication corporations in the world at the age of 25.

🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?‍

For me of course it will be a fashion space. I believe a few trends will change the fashion manufacturing industry in the future. One of that is "Big data and analytics," which enables brands to leverage data to create new designs and plan fashion collections.

It also allows brands to make data-driven decisions that simplify inventory management and collection planning. Fashion brands and retailers are using data analytics to improve product offerings and communication with the target audience. 

By enabling precise personalization, it increases sales and profitability. In addition, the technology predicts production hazards and identifies damaged goods for future repairs.

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry? 

It might be overwhelming at first when you plan to start a fashion brand since it involves many steps that need dedication from design, and product creation to sales and marketing, finding areas where you can ask for help from external sources, and focusing on what you do the best.

How to have more Vietnamese startups on the global map.

It's a hard question because we all have more than one, but if I have to choose I would say "Breaking Bad".
