👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
We're building a world where anyone can work anywhere they want, regardless of where they were born or what their nationality is. It's a bold vision, but we're starting with one pilot market in Thailand, by making it easier for people to get work and residence visas to live and
🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
Probably not surprising to other founders, but the founder role is basically a sales and marketing role, so my day-to-day mostly involves talking to customers or leads and creating social media content or ads.
🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
It sounds corny, but taking a leap of faith, leaving my comfort zone, and moving to Bangkok to build Issa Compass!
🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?
Interest in the immigration/employment/identity space is definitely heating up in both developed and emerging economies, and I'm curious to see what new models or competitors it brings.
💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
You never know which acquaintance you met at a random networking event will turn into a close friend or will open the door to your next role, so be open-minded, be yourself, and have meaningful conversations with people!
🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?
Moving internationally for 1- to 2-year stints, why people in each culture live and act the way they do, and what makes people tick.

Right now I'm watching Severance—the premise is basically the opposite of start-up founders who never stop thinking about work!
