👋🏼  How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

I translate complicated medical and longevity science into actionable, holistic health plans for clients and I apply this knowledge to help build tech-enabled longevity services with Mito Health.

🧐  What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

‍I don’t take that many supplements, I eat carbs, I eat fats, and I struggle with getting 8 hours of sleep too.

🏆  What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Starting Mito! Preventative and proactive healthcare is a key part of healthy and happy longevity that is unfortunately somewhat overlooked by institutional healthcare.

I’m thrilled to be helping more and more people be the best, healthiest versions of themselves.

🔍  What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?

Generative AI, particularly with regard to its applications to the healthcare industry.

I believe that, with the right checks and balances, it will redefine the way healthcare is delivered and the relationship that people have with healthcare providers.

💼  What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

The well-being of clients or patients must always come first. There are a lot of competing interests in the business of healthcare—scientific, financial, societal, environmental, ethical, etc.

But from the individual’s perspective, there’s so much at stake when it comes to their health; we must pursue advancement mindfully and responsibly.

🗣  What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?

The latest in exercise science, nutrition science and longevity science. I’m unashamedly a bit of a geek.

🎥  What's your favorite movie/TV show?

There’s so many. For something different I’ll say “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” - extraordinary artwork and story-telling.

🍨  What's your go-to ice cream flavor?

Openly, I’m not really an ice cream guy, but if i had to choose, it’d be a classic pistachio gelato.
