Tina Chopra is co-founder and CEO of Addlly AI. They last raised a seed round.
Before Addlly, Tina was a business journalist and a content marketer with stints with Forbes Asia BBC and Wealth magazine.
👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
I turn marketing teams into content superheroes by giving them an AI-powered creative partner. No more staring at blank screens or juggling a dozen drafts.
Imagine if your best content writer, strategist, and editor merged into one tireless assistant—one that actually gets your brand, never misses deadlines, and doesn’t demand a raise. That’s what we build at Addlly AI.
🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
People assume enterprises are slow to adopt AI, but the reality is they’re desperate for solutions that make their teams more productive. Often businesses want AI to assist their employees to be able to do more, but without the complexity of training it.
That’s why we designed Addlly AI to be as intuitive as a human team. The biggest challenge isn’t AI technology itself. It’s showing enterprises how to integrate it into their existing workflows without disrupting their teams.
🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Watching Addlly AI go from an idea to a platform trusted by enterprises and supported by industry leaders has been a rewarding experience.
We’re now supported by Microsoft, AWS, NVIDIA, and IMDA, and we work with leading global brands to scale their content with AI. Seeing our technology integrated into the workflows of major enterprises, and knowing they trust us, is a big milestone.
🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?
The shift from “AI-assisted” to fully “agentic AI” workflows powered by Generative AI. Everyone talks about AI as a tool, but we’re moving toward AI that executes entire workflows and strategies.
Soon, AI will be able to run campaigns end-to-end while you sip your coffee.
💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
Don’t just build tech—solve real problems. If you’re working in AI, don’t get lost in the hype. The best AI is invisible; it just works, seamlessly, without making people jump through hoops.
🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?
The future of marketing, why most AI-generated content still sounds robotic, and how Asia is the most exciting market for AI-driven hyper-personalization.
Also, the mystery of how some people function without caffeine.
🎥 What's your favorite movie/TV show?
The Big Bang Theory. I can watch it on loop, probably know all the episodes, and can say the dialogues too!
🍨 What's your go-to ice cream flavor?
Dark chocolate with a hint of chili (sweet, but with a kick). Kind of like building a startup!
