Indonesian edtech Cakap gets a C(1 funding round)

Here's CakapThis Indonesian edtech startup just raised a Series C1.

  • Founded in 2013, they have over 3M students using their platform.
  • While they haven't shared their numbers, they claim to have stayed EBITDA-positive and have seen revenue 10x since 2020. 

Investor check. MDI Ventures and existing investor Hertias Capital joined in! 

  • With the funding, their valuation has gone over $100M.
  • They last raised a $10M Series B in 2021 and an undisclosed investment from Indonesia Impact Fund (IIF) last year.
