September 20, 2024

Say hi to Indonesia’s CarbonEthics! They work with clients to co-develop tech-enabled natural climate projects that will help them hit their climate goals and create new sources of revenue. Now, they just raised a $2.1M seed!

  • They’ve partnered with over 300 businesses and institutions like Allianz, Ernst & Young, and Danone.
  • Southeast Asia is projected to provide around 30% of the world’s carbon-offset supply by 2030 through nature-based solutions.

Investor check. Intudo Ventures led the round. Several angel investors also joined in!

  • They raised a $220k pre-seed from Spiral Ventures and Ecoxyztem.

🌳 A little bit about them

Founded in 2019, they’re here to be the go-to partner for decarbonization.

Nature-Based Carbon Projects. Protect ecosystems to sequester carbon, enhance community livelihoods, and safeguard biodiversity;

Tree Planting. Support ecosystem rehabilitation efforts, with a focus on blue carbon ecosystems, which are oceans and coastal ecosystems like mangroves, saltmarshes, and seagrasses.

💰 What’s with the $$$?

They’ll close more carbon projects and hire more experts to serve their clients even better.
