Indonesia’s Sirclo gets $10.5M to help more brands sell online

Do business with Sirclo! This Indonesian startup helps businesses sell online with their all-in-one e-commerce solutions. They just raised $10.5M in Series C funding, according to VentureCap Insights.  

  • Launched in 2013, they serve more than 25 million customers and have 150,000 brands on their platform!
  • Their tech is used by global brands like Unilever, Levi’s, and L'Oréal.

Investor check. Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India funded the round. 

  • This pushes their total valuation to over $342.8M!

📈 Growing pains?

They’ve made some notable acquisitions in the past years to grow their e-commerce family. But they’ve also had to lay off 8% of their staff late last year

  • They acquired Warung Pintar, which offers digital solutions to warungs or streetside stalls, early last year. 
  • They also acquired parenting platform Orami (2020) and e-commerce firm ICUBE (2021).
