Klook lands $210M in travel industry bounceback

Travel is bouncing back. Klook, the Hong Kong-based travel and leisure booking app, just secured $210M in an extended Series E funding round.

  • They also achieved “overall profitability” for the first time earlier this year! They didn’t provide additional details.

Investor check. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round.

BPEA EQT, Atinum Investment, Golden Vision Capital, Krungsri Finnovate, Kasikornbank Financial Conglomerate, SMIC SG Holdings, and bank facilities from Citi JP Morgan, and HSBC also joined in. 

  • Scoop: Klook is Hong Kong’s third unicorn after GOGOVAN and Lalamove. 
  • They raised a $200M Series E round back in January 2021.
