Mekari

Meet Mekari! This Indonesian SaaS startup builds software to help you manage and grow your business. Now, they've just raised a $50M Series E!

Who else cashed in? Money Forward led the round, and several existing investors joined in.

  • Doubling down. Money Forward, the largest SaaS provider of financial management apps in Japan, also led Mekari's Series D.
  • Existing investors include East Ventures, Beenext, MidPlaza, Mandiri Capital, Alto Partners and Prasetia.

💁🏻‍♀️  Got a lot of SaaS

Mekari's got five different types of SaaS software for your needs:

Talenta (HR). Automate payroll, manage shifts and analyze HR trends.

Klikpajak (Accounting). Handle bookkeeping and accounting, track inventory and more. Oh, it's even integrated with banks.

Qontak (CRM). Simplify customer support, sales, KPI tracking and customer data.

Jurnal (Tax). Calculate, pay and report tax through this all-in-one software compliant with Indonesia's tax regulations.

Flex (Benefits). Offer flexible and custom benefits to your employees for wellness, commutes and even early access to salary.

🤑  Caught the fintech bug

Mekari's expanding into fintech! They'll be building financial services as a layer on top of its current products.

  • Their main focus is to support their clients' (mostly MSMEs) with digital transformation by using tech like Mekari's.

Case in point. For example, it can leverage data from its payroll platform, Talenta to offer earned-wage access and employee loans.

🤩  Coming soon

They're building two products in-house but are open to acquiring other SaaS companies to help expand to new verticals.
