Momos raises $10M Series A to build AI-powered customer software for restaurants

September 20, 2024

Hungry for customers? Here’s Momos. Headquartered in Singapore and the US, they’re an AI-powered customer engagement platform for multi-location restaurants. Oh, and they’ve just raised a $10M Series A!

  • They grew 4x last year. They serve 5,000+ businesses globally, including Shake Shack, Baskin Robbins and Guzman y Gomez.
  • They’re active in 10 countries across North America, APAC, and the Middle East.

Investor check. 645 Ventures led the round. Existing investors Alpha Wave Global and Peak XV, as well as new investors Soma Capital, FJ Labs, Taurus Ventures, and Correlation Ventures also joined in!

  • They’ve raised $17M to date.

🍽️ What’s the problem?

Restaurants struggle to manage their customers seamlessly across multiple locations. Momos is here to help them save time and bring in more repeat customers.

  • Especially when you hit millions of brick-and-mortar customers, it’s impossible to manage them across channels.

😋 How it works

Founded in 2021, the Momos platform has customer service, customer experience, and marketing solutions.

It’s basically a business' mission control software, where they can compile data on each customer interaction across channels.

  • Learn when customers discover your brand and how often they visit.
  • Get a unified inbox for all customer feedback, like reviews, chat, web, and email.
  • Access AI-powered customer support, automation, analytics, and insights.

🔥 Talking about the future

Prep those resumes because they’ll be growing their engineering and sales teams. Oh, and they’ll expand to new markets like South Korea and Saudi Arabia.

  • They may even expand to other brick-and-mortar sectors beyond just restaurants.
