Shipmates is taking the headache out of shipping

September 8, 2022
Shipmates

Ship it with Shipmates. This Philippine startup just raised a $2.2M seed!

  • Their goal? Be the all-in-one preferred shipping platform where anyone can easily book and manage shipments from multiple couriers.

Investor check. Cathexis Ventures, Wavemaker Partners, Taurus Ventures, Capital X, Sketchnote Partners and more joined in.

  • They're also backed by Y Combinator and Iterative.

💪🏼 Why it matters

Here's what sucks. As an online seller in the Philippines (especially MSMEs), you'll be booking couriers one by one on your phone or laptop. You might even be using multiple couriers and apps like Lalamove, Grab, LBC or FedEx — because of different prices, locations and more.

If not, you might even be the one dropping off the shipments yourself. Yikes!

📦 Shipping made easy

Say bye to using multiple shipping apps and websites! Instead of wasting time and effort, just head to Shipmates. Integrate your e-commerce site with their API, and all your order data will go straight to Shipmates, where you can pick your courier.

  • No website? No problem. A lot of companies typically have Excel files with shipping details for each order — just upload your file to Shipmates and book bulk deliveries in a flash.

All-in-one. They have a growing mix of on-demand and standard couriers like Grab, Borzo, Lalamove, Entrego and J&T Express. You can even offer Cash on Delivery and book bulk shipments too!

  • Easily compare rates across different couriers, so you can always pick the best price.

Manage like a boss. Track all your shipments on one platform. They'll even generate waybills for you automatically, so you can just print them instead of typing or writing the shipping details manually every time!

💰 What's with the $$$?

They'll be scaling the platform to support more merchants in the Philippines.
