Investor check. Stride secured equity from a new investor, UOB Venture Management, and existing investors Clime Capital and Touchstone Partners. 

• The startup previously raised a $2M seed in May 2023. Oh, and in 2024, they arranged debt financing from Swedish investment firm Trine.

🤩 Future forward

Vietnam mapped out their energy goals in the Eight Power Development Plan (PDP8), which was released in 2023. 

The plan puts a focus on renewable energies (like wind and solar power) and emphasizes the creation of a smart grid system to safely operate large-scale renewable energy installations. 

• Oh, and under PDP8, 50% of office and residential buildings should be covered by rooftop solar by the end of the decade.
