Get better healthcare services with HD! They help you book vacant operating rooms in hospitals and hire private practice surgeons, so you can get cheaper surgeries—and more.

  • Why it matters. Hospitals make $$$ from room rates, surgeons can earn more, and patients can better access procedures!

Investor check. FEBE Ventures gave them an undisclosed amount of funding.

  • They received $6M from Partech Partners, M Venture Partners, AC Ventures, Wing Vasiksiri, and Orvel Ventures earlier this year!

🕶️ The HD vision

The Thai-based startup has 30x’ed their outpatient demand since launching in 2019. Here’s a rundown of some of their features.

  • 💊 HDmall. A marketplace that sells services like prescriptions, general checkups, dental work, cosmetic consultations, HPV vaccinations, and more.
  • 🏥 HDcare. A platform where patients can schedule for minimally-invasive surgeries (thyroid, hemorrhoid, and cosmetic procedures) using extra space in clinics and hospitals!

That’s not it. Patients can also access loans to help pay off their healthcare procedures. Oh, and they’ll help you manage your health insurance!

🩺 The big picture

Most Southeast Asians pay hospital bills out of pocket. And it’s quite common for doctors (especially in Thailand) to open a dual practice to earn some extra cash.

  • What HD means? Cheaper hospital bills and more income for doctors.
  • They just launched a partnership with Johnson and Johnson MedTech to elevate the surgical skills of healthcare providers in HDmall and HDcare.

🌏 More things coming

HDmall and HDcare currently operate in Indonesia and Thailand.

  • With the new $$$, they are ready to expand to Vietnam!

Profitability, next? According to a statement, they’re expected to become profitable next year!
